Across the parking lot from my gallery is the "Mine Shaft Tavern"... a VERY popular target for Motorcyle afficianados of all kinds, and the parking lot is a showplace on any given day. "Colin" came into my gallery one day, and had parked his new Ducati right out front...lucky guy, this GT1000 is his first motorcycle ever! Now I am in the custom "You and Your Ride" portrait business as well!
Many motorcycles really do have great lines, and the owners pride shows immediately. Harley's, Indian's (a favorite of mine), Ducati's (can you say 'desmodromic'?...just ask me if you don't know) offer opportunites to have a very unique and high quality images created while you have lunch (or contact me seperately of course) at a very low price! I can do color or black and white (which seemed best for Colin's black and white Ducati)... but you would get a CD and one matted and mounted print (13"x19") for only $65!!! Pretty hard to beat.
The nifty starburst of sunlight on the back of his gas tank was a gift from above, as well a slightly blurry spot (darn) below that and left a bit. It was a raindrop on my lens...and the day that this occured was raining just slightly. Oh well, that is what Motorcycle life is all about!
